Little Prince- Chapter 17

Summary:

The seventeenth chapter is about that narrator said people always told lies in some situations. He told something about lamplighters of the Earth was wrong. And adults had their own ideas about what they thought. Once little prince arrived in the Earth, he didn't see anyone. He felt very surprised and thought that he went to a wrong planet by himself. At that time, he saw a snake and talked with it. Little prince told snake that he came to this planet because of his flower. Then they kept silent first. The snake told the little prince how powerful it was and it can help him. Sometimes little prince didn't understand its answer and sometimes he could understand. The snake told him that it knew all. Then kept silent again

Vocabulary:

uncoil (v.)-- to make sth. straight after it has been twisted round in a circle. 

riddle (n.)-- a question that is difficult to understand, and that has a surprising answer.


Interesting Sentence:

" But I'm more powerful than a king's finger."

This sentence means snake has more uses than a king's finger.
